Food Station is Optimistic to Finish Revitalization Project at PIBC on Schedule

Progress of Cipinang Rice Central Market (PIBC) revitalization project in East Jakarta which carried out by PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya has reached 86 percent. This revitalization is consisted of road thickening, drainage construction, and retention well construction.

It is in accordance with schedule made by the contractor

PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya President Director, Arief Prasetyo Adi conveyed, this revitalization was carried out in SRG warehouse area, which is a production and warehousing facility owned by PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya.

"Progress of road thickening and drainage construction at PIBC area has reached 86 percent until September 2020. It is in accordance with schedule made by the contractor," he said, Wednesday (9/30).

Rice Stock During PSSB is Safe

With this progress, he assessed, the revitalization project at PIBC area would be completed by the end of October 2020.

"We hope this project, especially for road thickening, can run well according to schedule thus it can be used optimally for heavy vehicles at PIBC," he mentioned.

The road thickening construction has been carried out as long as 45,801.57 square meters. While it reached 6,347.48 meters long for drainage construction. His side also builds retention wells to improve irrigation at PIBC area.

"We don't want road in PIBC to be damaged, because it can cause disturbance in rice distribution in PIBC," he added.

Formerly, PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya allocated budget Rp 90 billion from company's internal cash to improve the facilities, build drainage, and retention wells at PIBC.
